We are running and jogging, this ain't no race the fall run will carry out for the next few months. It has been off to a great start, some really great nights and mornings across the south shore. The amount of bait is off the charts and a great mix of sizes for bass. From 10 in schoolies up to 40 inch fish.
Bonito are still plentiful popping up very randomly . Some Customers getting them from shore as well. Still not an abundance of Albies. We are hoping they make a late push this year.
Tautog fishing has been really good with most boats able to catch they're limit. A lot of smaller fish but a few big ones mixed in. Fluke and Seabass fishing is starting to taper out.
The Salt ponds have been fishing very well in the morning and evening. Top water has been producing the majority of fish. Other lures working well are small soft plastics and bucktails.
Tuna fish this week has been great with more overs showing up. Both jigging and trolling seem to be producing.
