Fishing for fluke has been okay locally. With most fisherman finding a few keepers to take home. The majority of fluke being caught are short. Fluke fishing at block has been better with reports of a few larger fish. Whole small squid and live mummies seem to be working well for customers. Sea bass bite continues to improve with reports of bigger fish being found in shallow water. Less than 20 ft.

Still a lot of sand-eels around some lures that's have been good to match them are (Joe baggs sand eel, green Deadly Dick, and chartreuse Colt Snipper). Striped bass fishing has been very good with fish being caught locally and out around Block. Many of the bigger fish are being caught on live bait while many of the slot fish are falling for jigs or being caught on the troll.

Bluefish bite has quieted since early this spring but they are still around. Bass are in the pond feeding on rain bait and tight schools. The scup have moved in and are good sized with solid catches reported from shore and boat. Some solid tuna reports from this week and the reports should continue to come in.
